Live Visibility Across All Computers
DeskGate allows administrators to view all company computers live from a single
management panel. Every connected system can be monitored in real time, providing
immediate insight into current activity, screen content, and operational status.
In addition to live viewing, previously recorded sessions remain accessible at
any time through the built-in player.
This dual approach ensures both instant supervision and historical review, making
DeskGate suitable for operational oversight, compliance, and performance analysis
without disrupting user workflows.
User Consent and Controlled Access
DeskGate supports permission-based access during remote connections. Administrators
can request approval from users when viewing screens, transferring files, or
interacting through command-line operations. This model ensures transparency and
aligns with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Access rules are enforced consistently, creating a balance between administrative
authority and user awareness.
Full Remote Interaction
Administrators can interact with remote computers as if they were physically
present. Applications can be opened, files managed, and system operations executed
directly on the host machine without limitations.
Screen Recording and Playback
User screens can be recorded automatically. These recordings are securely stored
and replayed within the management interface, enabling audits, training reviews,
and incident analysis.
Fast and Secure File Transfer
DeskGate enables reliable file transfers between computers without external
hardware or third-party services, ensuring speed and data integrity.
Activity, Website, and Application Reports
DeskGate generates detailed reports covering visited websites, opened applications,
and usage durations. Keyboard and mouse activity is analyzed to identify active
work periods and productivity patterns. All reports can be exported in Excel
format for further analysis.
File operations such as creation, deletion, and modification are logged with exact
timestamps, providing accountability and traceability.
Groups, Restrictions, and Alerts
Users can be separated into groups with customized restrictions and permissions.
Keyword alerts notify administrators when defined words are typed or copied.
Inventory reports provide detailed hardware and system information for all
computers.
Administrator access can also be limited by group, ensuring role-based control
across large organizations.
Licensing and Support
DeskGate is licensed annually and includes updates and technical support at no
additional cost. There is no upper limit on users or administrators, provided a
minimum of five users is met.
System Requirements and Infrastructure
DeskGate operates on Windows environments with minimum requirements of a 4-core
CPU, 4 GB RAM, and standard hard disk storage. Microsoft SQL Server is used for
data storage, and port forwarding is sufficient for managing remote locations
without requiring a VPN.
DeskGate delivers enterprise-grade live monitoring, secure remote access, and
detailed reporting within a fully self-hosted environment. It enables
organizations to maintain productivity, security, and control without relying
on cloud-based infrastructure.
