Test deliveryVerify the mailbox before enabling recurring reports.Prepare your mail-provider detailsUse the SMTP settings approved by your mail administrator: hostname, port, supported security mode, username, credential, sender address and authorized recipients. Do not copy the example values in the screenshot. The SMTP panel and its availability depend on the deployment and your permissions. This guide covers the visible SMTP / Email controls; it does not claim that every mail provider or authentication method is supported.Configure the actual settings screenActual application interface with demonstration data; labels can vary by release. Open the image for its original size.Open General Settings → SMTP / Email.Enter the approved SMTP server and port. Match Use SSL / TLS to the provider’s supported configuration; do not guess the port from the checkbox.Enter the sender email, username and required credential. Confirm the account is allowed to send as that sender.Review Recipients. The current interface accepts up to ten addresses separated by commas, semicolons or new lines.Enable email delivery when ready for application delivery and choose Save mail settings.Review the intended recipients before selecting Send test email. This action sends a real message.Understand a successful testCheck the result shown by the application, then confirm receipt in the intended mailbox. The current test uses the values in the form; scheduled reports read saved settings. After changing a value, save it before relying on a future scheduled run.A submission success does not rule out later quarantine or filtering. If a message does not arrive, use the provider’s mail trace and check spam, quarantine and recipient rules with the mail administrator.Use the error to select the next checkConnection or timeout: verify hostname, port, DNS and permitted outbound traffic from the application server.Authentication failure: confirm account credentials and the provider’s permitted authentication policy. Do not disable account protections to bypass it.TLS failure: verify the supported security mode and certificate requirements with the provider. Do not bypass certificate validation.Sender or relay rejection: confirm the sender and relay rights assigned to the account.Connect SMTP to scheduled reportingAfter receipt is confirmed, review a schedule’s scope and attachment settings. Send now is immediate delivery, not preview. Activate recurring delivery only after verifying the intended PDF and recipients. For delivery failures, continue with Scheduled Report Email Not Received. Protect passwords and configuration exports; share only sanitized error text when requesting assistance.
